I, John Christopher Herber of Jerusalem, Albany County,  State of New York, being of sound mind and memory, do make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, that is to say;

FIRST: After all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, I give, devise and bequeath to my wife Sophia Herber, an annuity of $100 a year during her life time and charge my real estate with the payment of said annuity. 

I also give to my said wife the use of two rooms in my house, such two rooms as she may elect with sufficient furniture to furnish the same for and during her life time.

2nd. I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter Caroline Herber, the privilege of having a home in my house so long as she remains single or if she elect, I direct my Executor to pay her the sum of $400 in lieu of the home, she to have the privilege of choosing which she will have, and I charge my real estate with said bequest.  

3rd. I give, devise and bequeath to my son Ludwick Herber, the sum of five dollars.

4th.  I give, devise and bequeath to my son John Herber, the sum of five dollars.

5th.  I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Herber Heath the sum of five dollars.

6th.  I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter Mary Herber Lamb the sum of five dollars.

7th.  I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter Katharine Herber, the
