  Note	This is probably the widow of Francis Nurse (b. 3 Jan 1688 - d. 15 May 1737)) who was the second son of Francis Nurse and Sarah Craggen and in turn this Francis Nurse was the son of Francis Nurse and Rebecca Towne. If this is true then her Martha's maiden name was, probably, Hartshorn. 1738 Dismissed to the Church in Middleton from Reading [Interestingly Rebecca (Towne) Nurse was one of the so-called Salem witches. Rebecca was arrested on 23 March 1692 (aged 71) upon the complaint of Edward and John Putnam (as well, one of the original four hysterical young women with whom all of this started was Ann Putnam who, in 1706, made a written statement of remorse) with whom Rebecca and her family had a land dispute. Eventually, after a travesty of justice, she was hung on 19 July 1692.]
