Note	HISTORY OF CONCORD, MA, Shattuck; Sibley's HARVARD COLLEGE GRADUATED: 'came to this country in 1660, after receiving a preparatory education for college. He entered Harvard College from which he graduated in 1664. Three years afterward he was ordained as a colleague of the Rev. Edward Bulkeley, minister of the church in Concord, & on Mr Bulkeley's death, 1696, became pastor of the church, continuing in that ofice until his death, Sept 16, 1711, at the age of 71 years, when he was succeeded by John Whiting (H.O. 1661). He was mae a freeman at Cambridge, Mass., May 3, 1665, he married at Watertown, Mass., Mary, dau. of Capt. Hugh & Ester Mason, of that place. She was b. Dec. 18,, 1640. ... only work which has come down to us is an election sermon preached 30 May 1795 .. entitled 'Abraham, the Preacher, his privileges & duty'.'
