- From the 2/5/1915 issue of the Bedford Weekly Mail, Bedford, Lawrence Co., Indiana. DEATH. Came To Wesley Lively, Aged Farmer Of Heltonville At 8 O'clock Wednesday. FUNERAL TO BE FRIDAY. Wesley Lively, a retired farmer of Heltonville, died at 8 o'clock Wednesday at his home at Heltonville after a lingering illness. He was born in this county, September 19, 1832, died Feb. 3, 1915, aged 82 years, 4 months, 24 days. All his life was spent in the vicinity of Heltonville, where he was regarded as one of the most estimable farmers. He was a lifelong member of the Christian Church and always took a vital interest in the church work. He was united in marriage to Margaret Minerva Alexander, November 26, 1985, and to this union were born 7 children, two daughters of whome with the wife, have passed away. The surviving children are David and William Lively, of this county, Sarah Frances Forsythe, of Bloomington, Harvey Lively, of Donica Switch. He was united in marriage April 7, 1875, to Minerva Jane Starr and to this union were born two children, Albert Lively of Louisville, Ky.; and Homer Lively, of this city. November 9, 1891, he was united in marriage to Lizzie Foster. The funeral services will be conducted some time Friday at the Christian Church of Heltonville by the Rev. Quincy Short, of Springville. Interment will take place at Gilgal Cemetery. Buried in the Gilgal Cemetery, Heltonville, Lawrence Co., Indiana.
