  Note	Walter Eli McNamee, b. 1887: Walter Eli McNamee was born on March 27, 1887 on a farm at Bashan, in Meigs Co., Ohio and departed this life October 30, 1974 at Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware, Ohio at the age of 86 years. He was the son of Eli and Laura Colmer McNamee. In 1911 he came to Delaware where he lived and farmed the rest of his life. On July 6, 1918 he was united in marriage to Ruth Crawford. He was a Veteran of World War I, serving in the Army. He was a member and past Commander of Smith-Lawton Post 1749, World War I Veterans Organization of Delaware. He also was a member of the Warrensburg IOOF Lodge for 55 years and member of the Delaware Senior Citizens Group of Delaware. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; three daughters: Mrs. James Baker (Irene), Columbus, Ohio; Mrs. Gerald Koster (Pauline), Baudette, Minnesota and Mrs. Kenneth Knight (Justine), Delaware, Ohio; one son, Walter C. of Hillcrest Heights, Maryland; 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Esta Wise, Mingo Junction, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. He was preceeded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Lucille and three brothers and four sisters.
