  Note	BIO: Ira Dillingham, born Freeport, Maine, 10 December 1806; died Dixfield, Maine, 17 December 1868; married 30 July 1845, Martha H. Leavitt, born at Maine, about 1818; daughter of Joseph and Martha (Merrill) Leavitt. Ira was the third son of Melatiah Dillingham and his second wife, Elizabeth (Chandler) Dillingham. He was head of family in the 1850 census of Dixfield, Oxford County, Maine. His mother and two unmarried sisters lived next door. In 1860, he was listed as farmer, with wife Martha H., and three children. Ira died in Dixfield, 17 January 1868. Children of Ira and Martha (Leavitt) Dillingham: i Costello Columbia, born 20 November 1847; married Omar F. Savage. She was living in Augusta, Maine in 1911. ii Robert F., born at Dixfield, Maine, 27 February 1852; married at Boston, Mass., 4 November 1882, Olive B. Ripley, born at Bethel, Maine, 7 October 1856; died at Lawrence, Mass., 12 May 1896; daughter of Hosea and Julia (Sturgis) Ripley. They had no children. Robert was a carpenter, and was living in Lawrence, Mass. in the 1900 census and as late as 1911. iii Rena or Roanna A., born 6 November 1855; married at Andover, Maine, 10 July 1881, Charles F.
