- BIO:[7,8,PETE.PCX,1] Peter and Alice Hansen Peter Hansen was known locally as 'Little Pete' as he was only 5 feet 4 inches tall. He spent his life on his farm after his marriage to Alice De Remer on March 15, 1895 near Austin, Minnesota. He passed away September 8,1940. Alice passed away January 1945. He loved the farm and the crops and animals on it. Especially his horses. The family consisted of three sons, Roy born 1897, Fay born 1900, and Fred born 1914. All farmed near the home farm. The older two all their lives and also their sons are still farming except Herbert who died in 1987. I moved form the home farm in 1955 and farmed 12 years in western Minnesota, then moved with my family, wife Billie, son Eugene, daughters Karen and Kathryn to Winona County near Rushford. From a letter written by Fred C. Hansen June 17, 1991 to Jacque Lane. The rest is on Fred Hansen's Biography.
