- BIO: Anton was born in Langland, Humble, Svendborg, Denmark, July 10, 1870. When he was 17 to avoid national service he came to the U.S., before Ellis Island. He farmed for a while in Wadena & Sebeka Minnesota. Then he got the wanderlust and moved to Oregon then to Columbus, Montana. In Columbus he first ran the creamery, then the grain elevator, and he bought the farm north of town and raised cattle and pigs while he ran the grain elevator. His last move (Anna said she wouldn't move again) was to Blanchard, Idaho. He and sons Claude & Leigh farmed and cut wood. Leigh and Anton continued to farm until Anton's death. Leigh later sold the farm and started plumbing full time. From Claude Hansen told to Charles Hansen on August 19, 1991.
