- HISTORY OF MARLBOROUGH, NH: He & his wife were in Concord, MA, in 1729. Prob. b. in England, emigrated to this country when a young man, & settled in Concord, where 4 of his children were born. He is supposed to have returned to England, where he remained some 3 years, when he again emigrated to this country, settled in Waltham, where he resided 5 or 6 years, then, with a part of his family, moved to Killingly, CT.
GENEALOGICAL RECORDS OF ANTRIM, NH: came from England, bringing a large family, settled in Waltham, MA in 1738 & r. there 6 yrs. He He & younger ch. moved to Killingly, CT, while others remained [in Waltham]. Youngest son was Richard BAKER, who was 10 on arrival in this country. In 1757 he bought a section of wild land in Westminster, MA, ... m. Mary SAWYER of Lancaster, MA. Fourth son of Richard & Mary was Bezaleel BAKER, who came to Marlborough, NH in 1787.
